About Kaylee....
I am incredibly passionate about empowerment and self-advocacy.
I have been a masters level integrative occupational therapist for over a decade and I have worked in a variety of settings in the medical model- from intensive care units to outpatient. Now I am bringing all that experience forward to you. I have seen first hand how care can change if we ask questions and become an active participant in our care- it's your body and your experience after all! I believe in asking you the right questions so that you can begin to find answers. I am on a mission to offer education, empowerment, and guidance so you can reconnect with your intuition and yor body to get what you need for their healing journey. As a trauma-sensitive therapist, I have helped people find their inner strength and resilience. The body is a closed system and all systems are related; from your jaw clenching to your incontinence. My approach is that of thorough listening, lifestyle assessment, mindset work, and gentle manual guidance of the body rooted in what the person before me is saying (we often have the answers to our own healing we just need to be asked the right questions). I use what evidence is available and keep in mind that we have yet to research everything. Read the long version.... |
