 Hi.  I'm Kaylee (she/ her).

I am passionate about education and empowerment.
I am on a mission to support
women so they to recognize and harness the power source they are.

MY STORY and MY WHY

I earned my bachelors in Health Science and masters degree in Occupational Therapy in 2009.  With my 12 years of experience, I have been fortunate enough to work at top ranked hospitals with a diverse population of people.  I worked with medically complex and very fragile people helping them to regain independence, despite it looking a bit different, after traumatic injury.   I have supported people in the most challenging, raw, and vulnerable times of their lives, a place no one ever wishes to find themselves or a loved one.  And time and time again I found myself hearing from patients and family members that I was the hope and calm in those moments.

My passion for maternal and pelvic health and wellness blossomed with the births of my two children.  I want more connected, inclusive, holistic, and patient- led healthcare for all of the future generations to come.

During my pregnancies and postpartum (we are always postpartum), I found myself using my extensive knowledge about joints, muscles, neuroscience, ergonomics, functional activities, mental health, and exercises. I attempted my best to incorporate all of this understanding into everyday activities because who has time for anything else?! You do not have time for more, but you do have time to be more aware and present in your day, leading you to a more successful and happier you.

I am here to help you prepare your body, your pelvic bowl, your root of the feminine for you to gain a deeper understanding of your body to lead you to harness the power you hold within.  You can enter into pre-conception phase, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause with the inquisitive mentation vs. the dread that so many of us do.

It takes an integrative view to be able to prepare for and adapt to the new role of growing, birthing, and raising a human.  Instead of a “figure it out attitude” I give you the confidence to move into these roles by assessing your home environments and giving you education on what is physically, mentally, emotionally happening  to become more confident in your body and new roles.

Women know their bodies best and it is time they have the confidence to listen to them and ask medical professionals to do the same.

This is my commitment to you.  I WILL listen and if you are open to listening to what your body is saying, you will be more connected after our time together.  Women's minds are full, but this journey into motherhood is a practice in mindfulness.  It's a journey of looking inward so we can grow and thereby nurture the being developing inside us.

I am honored to join you on your journey.

In my spare time I love adventuring with my two kids and husband- anything outdoors.  When I can get out for a mountain bike ride with my love (or alone or with lady friends) this is my happy place. But mostly you'll find us exploring nearby parks, reheating my coffee a trillion times in hope I will finish it finally, and wrangling my two little (very cute) kids.

And to really do your homework on me.....here is my resume!
